I was born in a small village in Switzerland as the youngest of eight children. My early years were filled with dreams and a carefree life. A new chapter began when I started school. I completed primary and secondary education, followed by an apprenticeship, and finished my military service.

During this time, life felt lonely, and my search for spiritual fulfillment intensified. I joined a meditation group and began following the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. Eventually, I moved to Detroit, where I met Yogacharya Oliver Black, a direct disciple of Yogananda. Every Sunday, he gave lectures at the Detroit Institute of Arts. It was there that I met my dear wife, Mary.

After a time, we decided that Michigan was too cold, so we moved to Arizona. Mary became busy with her beautiful designs, while I continued working as a toolmaker. In 1986, we started a new business, which quickly grew. Within a few years, we became quite successful. Life was good but filled with many obligations, and in 2012, we decided to sell everything.

Mary was truly a saint, though she never sought recognition for it. Over the years, I’ve written some beautiful poems, which I now wish to share. In my book, “The Infinite and I,” I explore the idea that we are all children of the Divine. Whether we realize it or not, in time, we will all discover our true nature.
